We feel that there is a real difference between tree surgery or tree contracting and other kinds of contracting work. There is one simple reason for this. Trees are alive! Yes, we know, it is not something you tend to think about that often, but we all know that it is true. In the wood, you can see age rings, you can see the leaves change colour and fall periodically, they constantly grow beyond our control and we have to realise that there is not much you can do about this as a passive observer. So, we are not a company who offers regular contracting work. Though we do build up and take down in a sense, we are dealing with a constantly shifting and changing object, with needs as well as issues. Therefore, our work is tailored towards this. When we cut down a branch, we do it just enough to ensure that the branch can regrow should the customer wish. When we tend to the roots, we ensure that the tree still has enough presence in the soil to not lose the battle for nutrients with other trees in the area should the customer want to keep the tree.
